Mohammed Fairouz Zabur

Heralded by the New York Times as “…an important new artistic voice” and by BBC World News as “One of the most talented composers of his generation,” Fairouz composed Zabur – a setting of the Psalms with libretto by Najla Said – in response to a community-wide commission by the city of Indianapolis.

Recorded live in performance April 2015 featuring the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Indianapolis Children’s Choir, Tenor Dann Coakwell, Baritone Michael Kelly, Eric Stark conductor.
