Ornate, florid, and at the same time reverent. The Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra joins the 40-voice Symphonic Choir Chamber Singers and a cast of soloists for a one-night-only performance of a musical masterwork by Johann Sebastian Bach. Eric Stark conducts a fresh, re-imagined interpretation that is both personal and epic, historic yet timeless. Bach’s inspired genius shines through the storytelling of the Gospel of St. John.
