Beethoven: Missa Solemnis

an Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra production

The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra concludes its season with a divine celebration of Beethoven—his Missa Solemnis. First performed in 1824, this masterpiece brings together the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir, the full orchestra, and four soloists, ending with a fragile plea for peace in a time of war. Music Director Krzysztof Urbański will return in the fall of 2020 to continue the Beethoven 2020 celebration.
