Mary Robinson

Originally from Cincinnati, Mary has been a confessed choral nerd since the age of 16, when she quit band and joined choir in high school. She enjoys singing a wide variety of music, especially that of the Renaissance, and has performed a wide range of repertoire with some of the country’s premier ensembles, including Apollo’s Fire, the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus, our own Indianapolis Symphonic Choir, San Francisco Bach Choir, and San Francisco Choral Artists. She was also a founding member of the Enigma Consort and Cincinnati Baroque. She is currently a staff singer at the Episcopal Church of All Saints.

Mary has had a long career working for numerous nonprofits. Behind the scenes, she has worked with a variety of arts organizations, including the illustrious San Francisco Opera. She received her Bachelor of Music from the University of Texas School of Music, a Master of Music History from the University of Akron School of Music and a Master of Music in Early Music Voice from the IU Jacobs School of Music, and earned a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the IU School for Public and Environmental Affairs. In her spare time, Mary enjoys baking, reading, and spending time outdoors bike riding, kayaking, and playing hammock ball with her dogs.
