In-Choir-ing Minds
In-Choir-ing Minds offers a special look into our concert programming, in which Artistic Director Eric Stark will lead you on a unique tour through the repertoire, its historical and cultural context, and more. It also can offer a sneak peek into our rehearsal process as we near our performances! In-Choir-ing Minds events are a supplemental educational initiative developed by the ISC in order to make music more accessible to all. This event is open to the public and free of cost; no registration is required.

Words On Music
The Indianapolis Symphonic Choir’s educational “Words on Music” is a supplemental program included with your ticket to a Voices of the Spirit performance. Artistic Director Dr. Eric Stark, or another guest speaker/expert, will introduce the historical and musical background of the work immediately prior to the performance. What results is a deeper dive into the music in a way that is accessible to musical novices as well as aficionados.
